Marilyn Jenkins

Marilyn has served as a nonprofit executive for 30 years, working primarily in a membership environment where she supports a network of nonprofits and their boards. She is a licensed Standards for Excellence™ Consultant, both in Pennsylvania and nationally, and she has delivered governance training and served as a peer reviewer on behalf of PANO. Her extensive experience in board and leadership development, as well as her role as a professional coach (certified through Duquesne University), provide Marilyn with the opportunity to strengthen the nonprofit sector and support emerging leaders. Her certification in conflict resolution and mediation equips her with additional skills for her consulting and coaching.

Believing that “living” her work provides the best instruction, Marilyn has served on numerous boards including the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO), Literacy Pittsburgh, West Pittsburgh Partnership, and the Advisory Board for the Allegheny Regional Asset District. She holds degrees from the Universities of Virginia and Kentucky, is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh, and was recognized as one of Pittsburgh’s Smart Business honorees in 2016.
