Meredith Betz is a former senior executive with experience in leading education, arts and culture, and healthcare organizations. As a healthcare administrator for many years, she has created board development programs, guiding board members in creating their own compelling stories and that of the organizations they lead.
Along with senior team members, she has participated in the leadership of comprehensive strategic planning, an experience that she brought to her work at LaSalle’s Nonprofit Center. While there, she served on the Executive Corps and was a consultant to nonprofit organizations. In that role, she also had the privilege of coaching executive directors of small nonprofits that were on the cusp of “taking off.”
She holds a certificate in Board Development from Board Source, a company that provides the gold standard for board development education. As such, Board Source has enhanced her work as a nonprofit consultant and member of several boards. Meredith has been a contributing author for the Nonprofit Quarterly, a national organization whose publication has a mission to enlighten people on contemporary issues facing nonprofits.
She holds a Masters in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, with a specialization in organizational consultation and executive coaching. In addition, she has a Master’s in Education from Bank Street Graduate School of Education where she served on the field faculty as a consultant to the school district of Yonkers, NY. She is certified by Korn Ferry in the Emotional intelligence 360-degree assessment and Feedback, Future Search, International Coach Federation, Newfield Institute/coaching, LIFO (Life Orientations), Board Source—Board Development.
