Casey earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. During her four years at Millersville, Casey spent a summer semester studying abroad at the University of Stirling in Stirling, Scotland, served as President of her sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha, and completed 130 hours of volunteer service with the S. June Smith Center, Special Olympics and Girls on the Run. Giving back to others and to the community is something that Casey has valued from a young age and is what has driven her to want to work in the field of civic engagement. PANO provides a place for her to reach communities across Pennsylvania and impact them positively. Casey is very interested in public policy and enjoyed attending legislative meetings during her internship with PANO. She completed an independent study on the gender wage gap and enjoys researching this topic. Casey also attended Legislative Education and Advocacy Day each year she studied Social Work and spoke with Representatives about different legislation.
In her free time, Casey enjoys spending time with her family, listening to true crime podcasts, and photographing her dog doing anything and everything.
