Lauren earned a Bachelor of Humanities with a focus in Communication from Penn State University. Prior to transferring to Penn State, Lauren attended Ohio University. During her time at Ohio University, Lauren traveled to Panama to study tropical biodiversity and environmental studies. She also participated in the Global Leadership Program where she traveled to Vietnam and completed a marketing and exporting plan for a Vietnamese fish sauce company with students from Nha Trang University.
Lauren’s first experience with PANO was as an intern her senior year of college. Since starting her career at PANO in 2012, she has held multiple positions, starting as the Administrative Assistant to her role now as the Membership and Communications Director. Prior to coming on board, Lauren completed an AmeriCorps program at the United Way of York County, served as a public opinion researcher at the Scripps Survey Research Center, and interned at the Governor’s Office for the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian American Affairs. During her time at Ohio University Lauren participated in the Sierra Club. She participated in the United Way Day of Caring and has volunteered for numerous political campaigns.
Lauren loves graphic design, photography, traveling, music, films, food, and spending time with family and friends.
