Faduma Hasson has recently joined PANO as the Administrative Operations Specialist and is both excited and grateful to continue learning and supporting the nonprofit sector. Prior to joining PANO, Faduma was an office coordinator for an investment firm. She is currently working towards her bachelor’s in business administration at Penn State Harrisburg.
Inspired by her mother, who started her own nonprofit for Somali refugees, Faduma developed a deep passion for charitable work. Being raised by two Somali, Muslim immigrants, community and activism have been essential pillars in Faduma’s life. She hopes to bring a unique perspective and experience into the nonprofit community and the PANO team.
When Faduma isn’t working or in class she enjoys her time spent outdoors or with her friends and family. Hiking, biking, kayaking or happy hour – just say when.
