Shawna Mitcheltree is the Senior Director of Operations & Service Development at Alliance for Nonprofit Resources in Butler, Pennsylvania. She has successfully led organizations to the highest distinction on two separate accreditations since her time with the agency. Ms. Mitcheltree oversees the Development and Compliance Teams, which are responsible for nonprofit start-up activities, grant writing, strategic planning, marketing, fundraising/event planning, human resources, contracts, regulatory compliance, and internal quality improvement. She has been the featured speaker at Slippery Rock University’s workshop on Fraud, Waste, & Abuse through the Institute for Nonprofit Leadership and has also delivered a presentation to the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s Best Practices Academy on Utilizing Data Management Systems for Quality Improvement. She has been published in ZERO TO THREE for an article which she co-wrote entitled, “Collaborating for Better Outcomes in Early Intervention and Child Welfare: Developing Effective and Ethical Coordination of Services for Children and Families”. She is an alumnus of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Ms. Mitcheltree is a graduate of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Butler County Program and currently serves as the Vice Chair for Butler Meals on Wheels.
