Standards for Excellence Licensed Consultant Program
The Standards for Excellence PA Licensed Consultant Program is a professional development initiative that gives practicing consultants the knowledge, skills, and tools of PANO’s Standards for Excellence program. The training provides facilitation and training skills development and empowers consultants working with organizations seeking to implement the Standards, and consultants become part of a state-wide network of consultants working to improve nonprofit practice.
There will be two opportunities in 2026 for consultants to complete the training, in February/March for an online series or in September as a full-day in person session.
Expectations
All PA Standards-Licensed Consultants are asked to:
- Maintain an active PANO Membership (as an individual, nonprofit organization, or Corporate Partner)
- Complete the Standards for Excellence Licensed Consultant Training (9 hours)
- Each year after license agreement is signed, attend an online annual update session, and optionally attend three other quarterly networking calls
Fees
- The training program fee is $500.
- Consultants pay an annual fee of $100 (reduced fee in cases where there is more than one Consultant from the same firm)
