In 2025, interest in PANO’s statewide advocacy work reached an all-time high, with more than 40 people joining our monthly Public Policy Committee Meetings. Those meetings, however, weren’t designed for the type of engagement all those individuals were looking for when they signed up to get involved in PANO’s advocacy efforts.
Enter, PAAN.
Ok…what’s a PAAN?
PANO’s Policy, Advocacy, & Action Network (PAAN) was formed in 2026 to strengthen and advance PANO’s public policy work by serving as both an advisory body and an action arm.
So…who can join?
Participation in PAAN is open to nonprofit professionals representing diverse regions, missions, and perspectives from across the Commonwealth. No prior advocacy experience necessary but it is helpful for PAAN participants to bring knowledge of community needs, nonprofit operations, and/or advocacy networks.
