Convene PA

From Dreaming to Doing: Co-Creating What Comes Next at PANO’s Convene PA Gatherings

We opened our 2026 Collaborative Conference with a fireside chat between Diane Yentel (President & CEO of the National Council of Nonprofits), Maddy Gitomer (Senior Counsel with Democracy Forward), and our very own Executive Director, Anne Gingerich. Together with the audience, Diane, Maddy, and Anne dared to “dream out loud” about the democracy we’ve always needed and now have the opportunity to build.

Convene PA – which got its name as a direct result of that conversation – picks up where the conference left off. From November 2026 through May 2027 we’ll host five, free, in-person gatherings where we’ll:

• Enjoy breakfast and lunch together – because food fuels not only our bodies but also connection.
• Continue visioning for the future of PA, including the role of nonprofits in getting there – the same conversation happening around the country as part of the National Council of Nonprofits’ Transformation 2035 effort.
• Unpack how (and why) this visioning process works – so you can add it to the ways you already bring people together.

Check back here for dates, locations, sponsorship opportunities, and real-time results as these conversations start happening.

Let’s gather for the common good of our Commonwealth.

Attend a Convene PA gathering – all nonprofit leaders, staff, and volunteers are invited to join us in whichever region of PA is most convenient for you, regardless of where you call home.

• November 10, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM | Harrisburg, PA – Register here
• February, March, April, and May 2027 | Each of the Four Corners of PA – Express interest here

Sponsor a Convene PA gathering – the space to envision and build strategies for what comes next would not be possible without the support of our corporate partners.

• Check out sponsorship opportunities here.
• Choose your region and pledge your support here.
• As noted at each of the links above, we are happy to consider custom packages, including bundling your support across multiple regions and/or contributing in-kind support like venue space, food, or other goods. Please contact Anne Gingerich to discuss options!
