Larry Green is a seasoned Advancement Professional offering a unique blend of skills gained from 40+ years in the higher education and non-profit sectors. Larry’s appreciation for collaborating with diverse constituencies comes from working for a historically Black university, Jewish community centers, a child welfare organization, and in the community development space.
Larry is a strategic and creative leader proficient in core areas including: Grants – foundation, corporate and government (seeking, writing and post-award); Fundraising – major gift cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individuals and corporations, sponsorships, and capital campaign; Writing and Messaging; and Administration – including strategic planning, formulating policies and procedures, budget development and monitoring, Board and affiliated foundation relations, and assessment.
Larry earned his B.A. in Speech Communications from Case Western Reserve University and his M.S. in TV-Radio from Syracuse University. This education informs his approach to messaging and project management.
Larry currently serves on the board of Animal Grantmakers, a national group of funders devoted exclusively to animal protection and welfare.
