PA DEPT OF HEALTH (DOH) GUIDANCE FOR TRAVELERS
The following info was found here on the DOH website.
- The PA DOH currently requires that travelers entering PA from other countries/states, including Pennsylvanians returning home from other countries/states, must:
- Have a negative COVID test within 72 hours prior to entering PA
OR
-
- Quarantine for 10 days upon entering PA
- Exceptions to the negative test/quarantine rule include individuals travelling to/from the Commonwealth for work – it does not specify whether or not a volunteer job “counts” as work
- The DOH website also specifically says that the Commonwealth “does not dictate how businesses should implement the testing or quarantine requirement”. So, unfortunately, there are no recommendations for implementation.
- While the main method of enforcement seems to be the “honor system”, anyone failing to comply with the Order could face fines between $25-$300.
