Join PA Advocacy and Resources (PAR) for Autism and Disability and their partners in advocating for increased reimbursement from the Commonwealth retain the direct support professionals so critical to their work. Eye-popping data from and about service providers include:
- 37% annual turnover in direct support professionals.
- 34% of providers are closing programs permanently.
- 88% of those closing had to do because of staffing shortages.
