The PANO Standards for Excellence Licensed Consultant Program is a professional development initiative that gives practicing consultants the knowledge, skills, and tools of PANO’s Standards for Excellence program. The training provides facilitation and training skills, empowers consultants working with organizations seeking to implement the Standards, and consultants become part of a state-wide network of consultants working to improve nonprofit practice.
The next training will be held in person in State College, PA, September 23, 2026 from 8:30am – 4pm. This is the day just prior to our annual conference, so you should plan to come for the training and stay for the conference! Learn more about the conference here!
Participation in the licensed consultant program will:
The cost to participate in the program is $650, but you will only pay this fee if accepted. Program fees include: class participation, set-up administration, PANO individual membership, and the first year’s licensing fee. Existing PANO members pay $500.
Starting in 2028, consultants will pay an annual licensing fee of $100 and must maintain their PANO membership.
Applications will be accepted through August 14 and notifications of acceptance will be sent along with an invoice by August 21. Payment in full will be due by September 15.
