Each year, over 600 nonprofit professionals call PANO with questions about bylaws, organizational structure, fundraising, legal compliance and general nonprofit management. Our staff and a team of accounting, legal and human resources experts stand ready to help.

By supporting The Don Kramer Ask PANO Fund, you ensure that those who feel alone in managing their nonprofit have the support they need at their fingertips.

Established in 2018, the fund honors the work of Don Kramer, Esquire. Don is the founding attorney who wrote the original incorporation documents for PANO in 1984. Since that time, Don has given years of support including board service, webinars, in-person trainings, and near-daily legal support based on his experience as an attorney at Montgomery, McCracken in Philadelphia. He has assisted organizations statewide that reach out to Ask PANO for wisdom, guidance and answers.

Standards for Excellence® offers tools and resources to support nonprofits in meeting the highest standards, legal requirements and regulatory compliance of nonprofit governance, management and operations. Through the Standards, PANO offers an “Accreditation” and “Basics” Recognition process, trainings, the Standards for Excellence Ethics and Accountability Code and educational resources.

PANO provides training and resources on all things related to nonprofit management to over 5,000 individuals every year. We follow local, state and federal legislation, advocating for public policy that helps over 27,000 nonprofit employees and 100,000 nonprofit volunteers meet community needs. Our general operating fund provides unrestricted dollars to pay for operational expenses such as salaries, technology and insurance.
